Alamitos West Health Care Center is located in Orange County in the southeast suburbs of Los Angeles, just east of Long Beach, California.

From 605, exit onto Katella Avenue and turn east. The community is on Katella Avenue about ½ mile from the exit, on the right side of the street.

Alamitos West is located adjacent to its sister community, Katella Senior Living, an assisted living facility.
